Three rules for business nature wording
- Describe the activity, not the ambition. The IRD reads this wording when assessing your tax position, so it should match what the company actually does.
- Broad enough to grow, narrow enough to be credible. TRADING OF ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS beats GENERAL TRADING when your offshore claim depends on showing a specific trade flow.
- Keep every word under 30 characters and the total under 60, or the certificate prints it wrapped mid-word.
